the game, their love of the Club and the humour they share with their fellow
supporters.
Fans recall their earliest memories of going to St James’ Park, favourite
players, memorable games, trips to Wembley, the glorious Fairs Cup victory
in 1969, the exciting times of the Keegan era and dramatic nights in the Champions
League.
Co-author John Edminson also contributes his memories and provides many of
the illustrations from his collection of ‘Magpie Memorabilia’.
